UK AOC for FR
IRISH low-cost carrier Ryanair has been issued with an Air Operating Certificate for the UK.
The carrier said it had applied for the British AOC about 12 months ago in light of concerns about the possible impacts of Brexit on the aviation sector.
Rival easyJet, which is based in the UK, has also protected its position in the event of a “nodeal Brexit” by establishing a new Vienna-based subsidiary with a European AOC.
