TA mar­ket­ing chief heads to Coles

TOURISM Aus­tralia’s Chief Mar­ket­ing Of­fi­cer, Lisa Ron­son, will leave the or­gan­i­sa­tion af­ter be­ing con­firmed as the new Chief Mar­ket­ing Of­fi­cer of su­per­mar­ket gi­ant Coles (TD break­ing news).

Ron­son has led the TA mar­ket­ing team for four years, with the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s CEO John O’Sul­li­van say­ing she had “brought a new level of cus­tomer cen­tric­ity, com­mer­cial fo­cus and cre­ativ­ity to our mar­ket­ing”.

Key cam­paign suc­cesses have in­cluded the “Dundee: The Son of a Leg­end Re­turns” Su­per­bowl pro­mo­tion, Aussie News To­day and UnDis­cover Aus­tralia.

She will stay un­til Mar to help man­age the tran­si­tion to a new CMO and bed in Tourism Aus­tralia’s newly ap­pointed global cre­ative and dig­i­tal agen­cies, M&C Saatchi, Dig­i­tas and ASAP+.
