SAA back in the air

Travel Daily - - News -

SOUTH African Airways (SAA) flights are now operating on schedule after the aircraft identified for the compliance checks were cleared and released back into service.

“SAA’s voluntary decision to recall its aircraft followed an oversight inspection conducted by SACAA at the airline’s maintenance subsidiary, South African Airways Technical (SAAT) and an audit on one aircraft operated by another carrier,” said SAA Regional General Manager Asia Pacific Tim Clyde-Smith.

Only domestic flights were affected (TD 25 Oct).
