FIVE-STAR hotel Banyan Tree Bangkok has launched a deluxe dining cruise along the Chao Phraya River.

“Saffron Cruise” aims to blend the hotel’s award-winning cuisine with the “romantic riverine scenery” for the excursion on the waterway known as the River of Kings.

The vessel features al fresco daytime and evening dining, with the kitchen presenting the gastronomic stylings of the hotel’s Saffron restaurant, mixed in with live entertainment and cultural performances.

The cruise takes guests on a tour of the Chao Phraya’s riverside sites, such as Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, Asiatique, the Royal Barges National Museum and more.

Packages available include private charters, which offer cooking classes, tailored spa treatments, engagement and wedding ceremonies; and MICE packages, which cater for business and trade groups and company incentives.

Available inclusions feature one standard drink for the early 5pm departure, leading in from THB550, and a five-course menu and one cocktail for the 7pm dinner departure, leading in at THB3,200.
