EK wins the Cup

EMI­RATES is still the top brand as­so­ci­ated with the Mel­bourne Cup, de­spite the air­line end­ing its 14-year nam­ing rights deal with the event two years ago (TD 08 Nov 2017), Roy Mor­gan Re­search has found.

The study says nearly 3.9 mil­lion Aus­tralians (19%) as­so­ciate Emi­rates with the Cup, down from a high of 5.3 mil­lion (27%) in 2016.

The air­line is still as­so­ci­ated with the Mel­bourne Cup Car­ni­val through a pole mar­quee spon­sor­ship and a nam­ing rights deal with VRC Stakes Day.
