LATAM Air­lines Group will part ways with the oneworld al­liance on 01 May.

The group made the de­ci­sion to leave the al­liance last year af­ter Delta Air Lines took a 20% stake in the com­pany for US$1.9b (TD 27 Sep 2019).

LATAM cus­tomers will be of­fered oneworld ben­e­fits up to and in­clud­ing 30 Apr, af­ter which the air­line will main­tain fre­quent flyer agree­ments with a num­ber of oneworld mem­ber air­lines.

LATAM Pass mem­bers will not re­ceive oneworld fre­quent flyer ben­e­fits of­fered by Royal Air Maroc, which joins oneworld ef­fec­tive 01 Apr and LATAM will not of­fer oneworld fre­quent flyer mem­ber ben­e­fits to Royal Air Maroc Safar Flyer mem­bers.

All sec­tors on LATAM and its af­fil­i­ates booked and tick­eted as part of a oneworld fare prod­uct re­main valid even if travel oc­curs af­ter 30 Apr, as long as it is tick­eted on or be­fore 30 Apr.
