SAN Francisco Air­port and San Francisco Travel As­so­ci­a­tion celebrated Qan­tas’ BNE-SFO flight launch last week in Bris­bane (TD Mon).

With the first flight tak­ing to the skies Sun, 65 travel agents and in­dus­try pro­fes­sion­als gath­ered at Fri­day’s River­side in down­town Bris­bane to cel­e­brate, thanks to Napa Val­ley, Sonoma County, Visit Cal­i­for­nia, South Lake Ta­hoe and Yosemite Marl­posa County.

En­ter­tain­ment in­cluded live mu­sic from Chris Sheehy, and a spe­cial San Francisco-in­spired shim­mer sta­tion.

Drag queens Vol­lie LaVont and Luna Thicc also tested guest’s knowl­edge with a North­ern

Cal­i­for­nia-themed game of The Price is Right.

The night also saw Travel As­so­ciates’ Kylie McFar­lane win a 14-night trip to North­ern Cal­i­for­nia, with ac­com and ac­tiv­i­ties, as well as a A$2,000 travel voucher, and a A$700 do­na­tion to a nom­i­nated char­ity of her choice, which was WIRES.

McFar­lane is pic­tured be­ing pre­sented with her prize by LaVont and Thicc, and Gate 7’s Al­lie Sparr.
