Approve AZ: WTTC

THE World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has called on the US Govt to speed up the approval of the AstraZeneca vaccine so the tran-Atlantic travel corridor can be restored more quickly.

The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is yet to recognise the AZ vaccine, with the WTTC warning the lack of approval will create a major barrier to travel between the US and the UK even when the US sanctions quarantine-free travel, as America will be off limits to most Brits.
