WA tourism support
THE Western Australian Government has announced new support initiatives for tourism businesses in Kalbarri National Park affected by Cyclone Seroja.
Help will come in the form of the waiving of tourism operator licence fees for the 2021/22 financial year, as well as $250,000 to support the redevelopment of public infrastructure.
“Tourism businesses in Kalbarri have already been doing it tough during the pandemic and this has been worsened by the devastating impacts of Cyclone Seroja,” WA Environment Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson said.
