UK NHS health app outage chaos

A FOUR hour outage of a smartphone app from Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) overnight caused widespread travel chaos, with passengers unable to board flights because they could not prove their vaccination status.

The NHS Covid Pass app normally provides details of proof of immunisations as well as current test results, with the Govenrment agency blaming the outage on a “technical issue with a global service provider”.
