Angelique talks about her journey to business success

Growing up in an entrepreneurial home, Angelique Adcock had always wanted to grab the bull by the horns and venture into business. She studied the markets and eventually saw a gap that needed to be exploited. Her dreams were finally realised when she set up her own enterprises.

Today Angelique has grown from strength to strength and she has seen her businesses thriving even in the tough economic climate South Africa is going through.

“With all of my companies – I saw a need –a gap. I enjoy seeing

people succeed and if I inspire just person, my passion is fulfilled,” said Angelique in an exclusive interview with Inspire Mzansi. Angelique has several companies under business radar and she immaculately heads all of them with aplomb.

She founded many brands namely The Farmers Wife, The Gourmet Goddess, Electrocoat, Treasure Quest Treasures and the And Brand Company.

“Treasure Quest Treasures is a company I assisted my husband with and we started this in 2012. It is growing steadily and is mainly an online purchasing company. Electrocoat was started by my parents

and I had 10% shares in 2008. Today I hold 100% shares,” she said. Electrocoat is her primary company and mainly supplies motor car components for the automotive industry.

The international community used the month of March to celebrate women and many business ladies highlighted their struggles. Angelique too has had her fair share of challenges.
