Triathlon Plus - - Budget Wetsuits - race

AT FIRST GLANCE, our testers were a bit hesitant about the eye-catching design and feel of this suit. “My initial thought was that it felt more plastic and inflexible than the other suits on test,” said one. However, it’s no exaggeration to say that, once on, this suit blew our swimmers away. The fit was perfect – and water-tight – while pro speed silicon coated cuffs on the wrists and ankles meant it slipped on and off. Our testers particularly loved the single panel across the shoulders – from elbow to elbow (a feature usually reserved for top-shelf suits) – which gave unrivalled flexibility and tireless movement in the arms. Maximum buoyancy panels from hip to knee give support just where it’s needed to improve body position in the water while the entire suit is “fully coated” to reduce drag resistance (again, a feature usually reserved for pricier suits). A solid blue back panel also makes the swimmer more visible in the pack.
