Triathlon Plus - - The Big Test - huubdesign.com

A RELATIVELY PLAIN design (front detail is limited to a few well-placed stripes) belies the hidden qualities to this suit. Our sinky-legged testers declared this a Godsend. “Brilliant – it’s like swimming with a pull-buoy,” said one. “I feel like a dolphin in this – as if I’m actually moving faster through the water,” declared another.

Although the suit felt fairly thick compared to some other designs on test it was exceptionally comfy and warm while stretchy multi-panels in the shoulders and chest allowed freedom of movement in the arm action. Our testers needed help in getting the zip up and the suit was more of a struggle to peel off than some of the others we tried – however it does have a quick-release zip to speed things up. The new low neckline would suit those who prefer a less restrictive fit – and a wide Velcro fastening at the back prevents leaks, however rough stitching caused chafing to one of our testers.
