The tongue is quite large and free floating, and took some adjusting to sit snugly during the testing. In bare feet, it took multiple adjustments to sit comfortably with tri-laces. The sole is well structured and the design gives a good feel on the foot strike both on and off road, while the bounce feedback balanced the comfort and shock absorption in the longer runs with the responsiveness required when attempting to put some speed into the sessions.
