Triathlon Plus - - The Big Test -

AS THE NAME suggests, an aerodynamic cut to suit the more athletic build, this Pearl Izumi jacket is a fairly minimal affair. Most noticeable at first glance is that there are no storage pockets, so you’ll have to rely upon wearing a jersey beneath. Which you’d be well advised to, anyway, since warmth isn’t top of this jacket’s priorities. Waterproofing, on the other hand, is very good and it’s notable for its light weight. Thin enough to be stashed in your long-sleeved jersey’s back pockets until needed, or simply worn as a top layer, you’ll barely notice it’s there in a good way. Comfort is good, too, with a long section of rear hem staying in place with a strong silicon gripper, while stretch cuffs keep everything anchored securely at the end of the sleeves.
