Ramping up her twisted scheme to destroy Sonya, Alice unleashes pain and heartache on the street, leaving at least one neighbour in peril!
Poisoning Sonya’s food with painkillers is working wonders for the wicked Alice as she gleefully plots to separate her and Toadie. She schemes to send Sonya insane so he’ll be free to be with Alice’s daughter Andrea and their baby son Hugo. With family and friends worrying about Sonya’s state of mind, fearing she’s drinking again, Alice believes her evil plot will succeed sooner rather than later! Eavesdropping on Sonya (Eve Morey) and Toadie’s (Ryan Moloney) conversation as they plan to track down Andrea’s (Madeleine West) mother in the hope she can assume full responsibility for her daughter’s care, Alice panics at the thought of exposure – especially after hearing that Paul (Stefan Dennis) is involved in the investigation. His private investigator has tracked down sensitive information, sending Alice into a frantic spin to intercept and destroy it! Unfortunately, Piper (Mavournee Hazel) interrupts the babysitter’s bid to break into and search the law office late at night, prompting Alice to desperately stalk Piper in the darkness and bash her senseless...
In the ensuing melee, Alice takes drastic measures to cover her actions – and her true identity – before devilishly lashing out at Sonya with a malicious trump card. Pleased with her handiwork, Alice cuddles Hugo (John Turner), sinisterly cooing to her grandson that Sonya’s about to suffer terribly! Sure enough, Alice provokes a big ght between the Rebecchis and with an irrational Sonya turning on her husband, the endish Alice celebrates to see Sonya feeling physically unwell.
With Sonya’s symptoms rapidly worsening, Alice makes the marital divide between them ever deeper, even playing on Sonya’s disorientation, promoting a massive meltdown from Sonya that’s directed at a bewildered Toadie. Before long the nanny’s wicked ways have unintended and frightening consequences!
Alone and confused, Sonya wanders off, quickly becoming lost and vulnerable to the elements. Finding herself in very unfamiliar territory, Sonya’s a trembling, broken mess as she stumbles upon a group of homeless strangers. Even worse, they’re sharing a bottle of booze and Sonya’s tempted to indulge, further jeopardising her health and her sanity…
SHE’S BEHIND YOU! Alice strikes at Piper! TOIL AND TROUBLE Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and Sonya (Eve Morey)
