Welcome relief

Tweed Daily News - - NEWS -

AS A former remote area firefighter who had years of exposure to firefighting chemical retardants, I, for one, was pleased to note the low/no risk findings of the independent panel of experts who undertook the risk assessment of PFAS at airports. Given some of the recent local commentary you could be forgiven for thinking that some people would have been happier if the report had found it to be highly toxic and about to wipe us all out.

For reasons best known to themselves, it seems like some people won’t rest until they can find some second opinion ‘expert’ to come up with findings that would better suit an outcome that they were looking for.
