Climate change

Tweed Daily News - - NEWS | OPINION -

IT SEEMS P.C. Wilson from Miami (TDN Sep 26) is not only overly concerned with Tweed matters but has also been immunised against reality.

Local government has no jurisdiction in the building of hospitals or the operation of airports. Most alarming though it seems record droughts, temperatures, wildfires, super storms, melting icecaps and ocean acidification to mention a few consequences of burning fossil fuels, do not register with this person.

While individuals and businesses are taking action to limit climate change we have a do-nothing government beholden to coal lobbyists. The sooner they are gone the better.
