THERE’S nothing like a free lunch, and until November 9 you might score one at Tweed City as the plaza plays host to a money tree. You just need to pull an apple with a scratchie attached. Prizes include gift cards, coffee and food vouchers. No signing up, simply stop by the tree between 10am–2pm.

RAISING money for lifesaving resources in Indonesia, the Surfaid Cup tag-team surf competition at Duranbah this Friday is open to long or short boarders. Competitors raise funds in order to compete. Teams then pick from a line-up of four amateurs and one pro or local legend. Friday 7.30am-5pm.
