The Alpina B12 got the BMW 850i’s 5.0-litre V12 tuned to a punchy 350 horses which drove it through 100km/h in under seven seconds. It doesn’t sound that quick today, but for a 1980s GT that was some serious pedal. Only 5 RHD cars were built of a total production run of 97. This one’s covered 39,000 miles from new and could well be an auction record for the model.
