25 August EH Anniversary Show n Shine
The original launch date of the EH Holden was 26 August, 1963, and our Club (EH Holden Car Club of NSW) runs an Anniversary Day Show & Shine Car Show on the weekend closest to this date, every year. Hubertus Country Club, Adams Rd, Luddenham. As well as catering for EJ & EH Holdens, we also invite other clubs and individuals to participate, with voting being carried out on the peer judging format.

VIC 17 August Repco Reliability Trial 40th Anniversary lunch

Popular sprint meeting that attracts a wide variety of cars. The Great Southern Street Machine Association, an Albany based car club, will host its Annual Car Show, and entries are open to all who are interested in showing off their vehicles. Dubs By The River is a VW and Car Enthusist get together. There may be prizes this year. Mostly the day is a great opportunity to spend time with fellow Vee Dubbers and to look at each others cars, relax and have a chin wag. No you don’t

29 September Bay to Birdwood
The Bay to Birdwood is one of the world’s great historic motoring events. First held in 1980 the event has become a fixture on the South Australian events calendar. This year it is for vehicles from 1956 to 1986. It is a mass-participatory citizen-collector historic motoring event. It draws participants from far and wide and attracts thousands of spectators to line the route and attend the start and finish events. Breakfast is available early at the start sites and then the passing parade is greeted by the spectators as it makes it way to the finish at the Adelaide Hills township of Birdwood.
