MANOLAS MAGIC

I have been a reader of your magnificent magazine since issue one and look forward to it long continuing, certainly deeply appreciated and looked forward to every month.

I was particularly taken with the article in last month’s issue concerning Kerry Manolas and the incredible cars he has owned during his long life, including a famous authentic Jaguar D-type Serial no XKD533 that was converted later to an XK-SS and now in the Ralph Lauren collection. I wonder if it would be possible in a future issue to tell his life stor y and list all the cars he has owned.

His love of Ferraris is legendary; just one of them would be the dream of any enthusiast alone, let alone the Bentley or the Aston DB3S or the Mercedes Gullwing 300SL, the Maserati 300S, and the pontoon Ferrari 250 Testa Rosa, perhaps the most desirable and most valuable of the lot.

If you could include photographs of all the glorious machinery that has passed through his garage over time I am certain that the article would be a hit with all your readers.

We hear of so many collections worldwide these days filled with dream cars but so little is really known about Kerry and that his garage has contained so many delicious machines that we can only dream of.
