#C395 HOLDEN TORANA A9X HATCH – VALENCIA ORANGE 1 OF 3!!!
If this isn’t the Holy Grail of Holden Muscle Cars, then we don’t know what is!! Super rare A9X Hatchback finished in Valencia Orange, the first of three made in this beautiful colour. It was the 51st of the 100 examples ever produced, which makes this car incredibly rare when you think about how many still exist today. Originally built on the 28th of October 1977, then first sold exactly two months later on the 28th of December 1977, through Shacks Cockburn in Naval Base, Western Australia. Staying with the first owner until 1980 where it was believed to have been traded in at Independent Motors in Western Australia, then moved on to the second private owner. It finally changed hands for the last time to the current owner on the 15th of January 1985. The car had not left Western Australia until recently when it was brought to our facility to be sold! From 1985 it remained unused until approximately 1987 in which time the car was resprayed. Due to a change of circumstance the car was deregistered in 1994, then in 2001 it was treated to a full rotisserie restoration which included a freshen up of the driveline and the interior. The car has been detailed in preparation for sale, including some paint correction and rectification of minor stone chips to the front area of the car. The car still retains all its original fibreglass flares, rear spoiler, bonnet scoop and original plastic front spoiler and plastic brake ducts. Rarely do such cars become available, so now is your chance to secure a very significant piece of Australian Muscle Car history. Now available by appointment only in our Kogarah facility or do not hesitate to contact one of our friendly staff via phone or email for more information.
