For some cars, fate redi­rects their des­tiny. They evolve, no longer a method of con­veyance but works of art on life’s hard road. This Ja­panese ute dreamed of end­ing its life in a cosy wrecker’s yard with all the other dead one-ton­ners but it was not to be. There was a Higher Call­ing. The farmer had such great love for his dead horse that he jammed it into a mon­u­men­tal stop­pie one day, thus declar­ing it Coon­am­ble’s very own mas­ter­piece.
