AUSSIE LEGENDS HIT $2M
RM SOTHEBY’S, LOT 228
THE MICHELOTTI penned TR4A was one of Triumph's most popular sports cars and sadly not many came to Australia. Unsurpisingly the UK seems to have an abundence of them including this smart loking one that sold for a bargain price. This lovely 1966 model, sent to San Francisco when new has a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate and was given a resto in 2012, retaining its signal red paintwork and black leather upholstery. It has a removable hardtop and completing the picture, chrome wire knock off-wheels.
