The tragedy of our time has been happening all around us, barely noticeable from day to day - the loss of our planet’s wild places, its biodiversity. I have been witness to this decline.”

This book and documentary are vastly different to what Sir David has done before. Filled with passion and emotion, he speaks of the impact humanity has had on nature, which is not necessarily a good thing. A poignant moment is when he talks through the desecration of the planet, with the world population growing annually while the remaining wilderness diminishes at an alarming rate.
