Urban Cyclist - - On Test -dencecollec

Cadence is a Californian brand that’s gaining an urban foothold in the UK. In fact, those of you who raced or attended July’s leg of the Red Hook series might have seen their team, Cadence Colossi, competing with the world’s best. That’s the back story – what about these green slacks? Well, they’re a slim-regular cut with tapered leg opening, which is incredibly comfortable, especially on the bike where a hint of elastane ensures they work with, rather than against, your pedalling motion. But there’s a problem – the billowing buttock area. While the legs fit nicely, the elastane-and-cotton mix gathers around the glutes, for a less-thanflattering look. We’d say it could be a personal thing but the same thing’s happened on the model used on the Cadence website. A shame.
