After launching Doha-Adelaide flights and expanding to daily services between Doha and Sydney during 2016, Qatar Airways will add Canberra to its portfolio in 2017/18. While no date has been set, the airline will be busy adding Las Vegas, Dublin, Rio de Janeiro and Santiago in the same time frame. The Qatar flight will be the second international airline flying into Canberra, after Singapore Airlines launched Singapore-CanberraWellington flights in September 2016.
