Women’s Own Ad­ven­ture pro­vides small group ad­ven­ture tours for women wish­ing to travel off-the­beaten track with other solo fe­male trav­ellers. The com­pany is launch­ing a new tour to emerg­ing Euro­pean des­ti­na­tions Mace­do­nia and Al­ba­nia, with a strong em­pha­sis on wildlife and con­ser­va­tion. De­part­ing 26 Au­gust 2017, the 12-day tour be­gins and ends in the Mace­do­nian cap­i­tal Skopje. Guests will walk the cob­ble­stone streets of UNESCO World Her­itage-listed towns, learn to cook tra­di­tional dishes, bathe in hot springs and visit an­cient churches. They’ll also walk through the coun­try­side meet­ing lo­cal farm­ers, ex­plore gor­geous vil­lages and hike with na­tional park rangers in Pelis­ter Na­tional Park.
