The flying Finn

-

Finnair continues to impress with its bold styling and Finnish touches to its fleet, including its Airbus A350XWB aircraft – now just over a year old. The soft LED mood lighting is inspired by the country’s famous Northern Lights, while Marimekko’s design elements are found on everything from the doona on the fully flat 200cm business class bed to the crockery. The A350 now operates on the Helsinki-Singapore route, which allows for convenient connections for travellers from Australia through Oneworld. Dining on board will be even better as of 11 January 2017, when Finnish Chef Eero Vottonen introduces his Signature Menu on all long-haul business class flights out of Helsinki. Vottonen is Finland’s candidate for the prestigious Bocuse d’Or competition, with 24 chefs from different countries competing in Lyon. finnair.com
