Take a bath in Paris
Once a private bathhouse for the likes of Marcel Proust, a hotspot for the Bohemians of the Belle Époque and a famed nightclub where Jagger and Bowie romped, Les Bains’ latest incarnation is as a unique boutique hotel in Paris. A bold new take on Parisian hospitality, the property is a vibrant international clubhouse and hotel, with its own restaurant, bar, private lounge, club, guest rooms and suites. Le Bains Paris is the project of filmmaker Jean-Pierre Marois, whose father owned the building and for whom reviving the glamour and bohemian verve of the legendary building was a passion. The result is a hotel like no other, ideally ensconced in the Paris’ Le Marais quarter and its trove of atmospheric streets, architectural splendours and historical gems spanning many eras. lesbains-paris.com/en
