Wildlife Photograph­er of the Year, Sydney, Australia

The Wildlife Photograph­er of the Year exhibition is on now at the Australian National Maritime Museum, on loan from the National History Museum in London. The exhibition features 100 awe-inspiring images, showcasing wild landscapes and animals in their natural habitats. The winning entries were selected from almost 50,000 entries from 96 countries, and will be seen by millions of people around the globe. Kevin Sumption, director of the Australian National Maritime Museum, said the exhibition held broad appeal due to its rich subject matter showcasing the diversity of life. “This is one of the most innovative and popular photograph­ic competitio­ns of its kind and we are delighted that Sydney audiences can once again enjoy these unforgetta­ble and inspiring images.” The 52nd Wildlife Photograph­er of the Year Exhibition will run until 9 October, 2017. anmm.gov.au
