Norwegian goes up

Norwegian, the low cost airline that made quite a splash promoting cheap fares from Singapore to London in recent months, has gained passengers, carrying more than 2.6 million people in April, an increase of 15 per cent compared to the same month last year. 2,638,229 passengers chose to fly with Norwegian in April – 336,188 more than the same period last year. The airline continues to renew its fleet, which now has one of the world’s greenest and most modern, with an average age of only 3.6 years. Two new Boeing 737-800s arrived in April, with nine Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner­s, 17 Boeing 737-800 and six Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft also boosting the fleet this year.
