This property, that only opened this year, is the most child-friendly, five-star hotel that I’ve ever stayed in, and seeing as I don’t have kids, that is saying something. Mövenpick’s ethos is to look after families, and they have really raised the bar here. Inside, there are two-storey rooms specially configured for those with kids, with art that appeals to kids, child-proof gates throughout and even kid-friendly water bottles. Outside, there is a massive pool area with separate pools, water slides, water play area, a swim around bar and cabanas for lounging in. As for the cuisine on offer, the breakfast buffet has to be seen to be believed and there is a separate room with a beautiful kids buffet, complete with all kinds of treats and even a Mövenpick ice cream bar.
