LIVE LIKE A ROYAL AT THE DUNSTANE HOUSE

To celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on 19 May, 2018, at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, The Dunstane Houses Edinburgh has launched a ‘Live Like a Royal’ package. Guests will be welcomed with a Royal-themed Champagne afternoon tea including some of the Queen’s favourites such as egg, mayo and cucumber finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, a freshly brewed pot of Earl Grey tea and glass of bubbles. The next day, the hotel’s resident ‘Royal guide’ will then take guests on a full day tour of Edinburgh’s royal hot spots clad in full Scottish plaid. Places on the tour will include Linlithgow Palace, Borthwick Castle and Holyrood Palace, the Queen’s official residence in Scotland. A visit to The Royal Yacht Britannia concludes the day, before heading back to the Dunstane House for a tipple in Ba’ Bar, a magnificent Scottish dinner followed by a whisky tasting with the hotel’s resident connoisseur. The boutique hotel, which dates back to 1852, underwent a major renovation in 2017.
