PEPPERS NOOSA RESORT & VILLAS, NOOSA
Looking out from the balcony of my room at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas, I see a forest of green, which is to be expected as the resort tucks into the spectacular Noosa National Park. I leave the sliding doors open, inviting in the ocean breeze, the birdsong and the scent of eucalyptus. While it is tempting to stay in my well-appointed room, the delights of Noosa’s Hastings Street are a short walk down the hill. I laze on the golden sands of the beach, swim in the warm ocean and enjoy watching a group of visitors do a learn-to-surf lesson, laughter interspersed with yells of delight as that first wave is ridden. The shops and restaurants of Hastings Street while away an hour or two, and back at the hotel, I enjoy a massage at Stephanie’s Ocean Spa, a dip in the pool and a wonderful meal at the resort’s View Restaurant, headed by chef Matt Golinski. The view out over the bay is magnificent, to be savoured whether you are there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. peppers.com.au
