SUSPENDED IN WHISTLER

-

Whistler, one of the world’s great outdoor playgrounds in winter or summer, has a new attraction – but it is not for everyone.

The Cloudraker Skybridge is a see-through suspension bridge spanning 130 metres, perched 2000 metres above the Whistler Bowl. The bridge goes from Whistler Peak to the West Ridge, where the new Raven’s Eye Cliff Walk gives stunning 360-degree views of the Coast Mountains with views to Black Tusk peak in one direction and Rainbow Mountain in another. The Skybridge is open all-year round but in winter, can only be accessed by skiers and snowboarders. The Cloudraker Skybridge is just part of a CAD $66 million dollar investment by Vail Resorts. whistlerblackcomb.com; vailresorts.com
