THAI AIRWAYS IS ON A ROLL

Having just flown with Thai from Sydney to Bangkok, there were several things that really stood out for me. Firstly, the friendly Thai spirit was so evident from the first point of check in until we arrived in Bangkok.

The crew could not have been more helpful and had such a great attitude to everything. I haven’t seen cleaner toilets on an aircraft, and saw them being cleaned multiple times during the nine-hour flight – not something I have noticed before. The food on board was delicious with both the main meal and breakfast very tasty. Even the food writer next to me was impressed. So it came as no surprise that Thai scooped the Best Economy Onboard Catering Award and the World’s Best Economy class at the recent Skytrax Awards – for the second year in a row. The airline also launched Live TV on board recently, with passengers able to watch real time news or live sport action. I highly recommend Thai for your next trip to Thailand for some sun, sand and spa pampering.
