LUXURY LODGE OPENS IN NEW ZEALAND

The Lindis is the latest luxury lodge to swing open its doors in New Zealand, located in the Ahuriri

Valley on the South Island, between Christchurch and Queenstown.

The contemporary lodge, which opened 1 November, is discretely tucked into one of the top fly fishing locations in the world.

For the non-anglers, there’s also hiking, mountain bike riding, buggy tours, ecological tours, horse riding and brilliant star gazing. The property sits on Ben Avon Station occupying 6000 acres within the Ahuriri Conservation Park. Daily menus focus on the best of local produce. Currently there are five suites located within the main lodge building – two master suites and three lodge suites. The second stage is due to open in 2019 with a three suite extension of the lodge featuring individual glass pods, sure to please the astro-tourism crowd. The lodge is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Queenstown airport.
