BYRON BAY SPA RECEIVES GLOBAL AWARD

Gaia Retreat and Spa in the hinterland of Byron Bay, New South Wales has taken out the top award at the 12th annual World Luxury Hotel Awards announced at the Ayana Resort & Spa in Bali. Gaia received the coveted 2018 Global Hotel of the Year honour. Gaia was established in 2005 by founders Gregg Cave, Ruth Kalnin, Olivia Newton-John and Warwick Evans. The spa and wellness property features some of Australia’s best therapists and wellness consultants, yoga teachers and fitness coaches. Guests can tailor their retreat experience to suit their personal needs. The management at Gaia confirmed they have a number of new packages and developments on site that will be announced in early 2019.
