NEW LEADERSHIP AT BAROSSA’S APPELLATIO­N

Executive chef Ryan Edwards has handed over the reigns at Barossa Valley’s Appellatio­n at The Louise to new executive chef, Daniel Murphy. The one-hatted Relais & Chateaux restaurant is now under the leadership of Barossan local Daniel, after he opened up St Hugo Restaurant with Mark McNamara. Daniel has close relationsh­ips with Barossa producers and providores, and he highlights their premium ingredient­s in his seasonally inspired cooking. Daniel is joined by a new head sommelier from Sydney, Patrick Burgun, formerly from Sydney’s Aria restaurant and Barangaroo House.
