Experience THE TRUE CROATIA

-

Cruising Croatia is about so much more than ships and all the facilities on board – it’s about

setting out on a truly memorable journey to one of the world’s most popular destinations. At Katarina Line Cruises, a raft of land and cruise programs are on offer so travellers get to

explore coastal and continental Croatia as well as neighbouring countries.

Katarina Line, a premier small ship cruise company, offers weekly guaranteed departures from April to mid-October from the major tourist centres of Opatija, Split and Dubrovnik. With a fleet of more than 60 vessels, Katarina Line offers cruise or land itineraries that give travellers the chance to explore the stunning natural environment and picturesque, quaint Mediterranean towns while hopping from one island to another.

Katarina Line vessels cruise by day, providing spectacular views of the Croatian Riviera, hill-dotted island and pristine natural wonders. Dive in crystal-clear waters on daily swimming stops at secluded bays or at world-famous beaches, then dock in historical towns. Unlike bigger cruise liners with limited time in port, Katarina Line vessels dock right in the heart of even the smallest destinations, so guests can leave and re-embark the ship at will to explore UNESCO-protected sites, historical laneways and see the sights of major tourist centres.

DINING

The air-conditioned dining area accommodates all passengers at once, yet offers a degree of privacy for each guest. A portion of the dining area extends outdoors as a lounge area, offering sweeping panoramic views of the surroundings. Katarina Line chefs carefully produce artistic local specialties prepared of fresh ingredients bought at local markets. Hot and cold buffet breakfast is served in the morning and three-course lunch in early afternoon. A sensational four-course Captain’s Dinner with entertainment on board is also included.

ACCOMMODATION

Katarina Line ships are floating boutique hotels that accommodate small groups attended by seven to nine crew members. Each cabin has life jackets, stylish furniture and fittings, and portholes. Bathrooms are equipped with toilet, shower, wash basin and hair dryer. Some cabins have indoor passage access to the bar and restaurant area.

ENTERTAINMENT

Most of our cruises offer formal Captain’s Dinners with live music and entertainment, during which you will spend your time in the Captain’s company and taste local specialties. Enjoy the beautiful views of Croatian coastline while tasting domestic wine on board. Join the Village Party excursion and explore surrounding villages where you can enjoy traditional dining or try local wines. One of the most exciting experiences is cruising alongside the old Dubrovnik city walls while lunch is served on deck.

HIGHLIGHTS

Lounge sundecks with an average surface of 200 square metres (2152 square feet) partially offer sun-shade and deck-beds for all passengers. The vessels have rear platforms for easy access to the water. In addition, the vessels offer jacuzzi, outdoor showers and deck lavatories.

Deluxe vessels visit small historical towns as well as worldfamous destinations such as Split, Dubrovnik, Opatija, Zadar and jet-set island Hvar. Croatia is rich in monumental heritage visible at every step. To complement stunning Croatian coastal towns, wonderful scenery of unspoilt nature is visible during cruising between the islands, and heaven on Earth is experienced on daily swimming stops at secluded bays. This unique way of travelling and exploring coastal towns is one of the most popular and easiest way to experience the true Croatia.
