V&T, Australia’s longest-running travel magazine, celebrates our relaunch
OUR LONG-TIME READERS MAY have noticed that Vacations & Travel magazine has relaunched, with a striking new design throughout our first issue of 2019 – the magazine’s 110th issue since launching in 1983.
Our team at Morris Media Australia decided this was cause for a little celebration!
On the launch of our autumn issue, we welcomed a group of travel industry colleagues and friends who have long been supporters of the title to join us as we launched our new-look publication.
At Sydney’s stylish new cocktail lounge Maybe Sammy in The Rocks, guests sipped on drinks courtesy of Casamigos Spirits Company, the award-winning producers of ultra-premium Tequilas and Mezcal founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman (unfortunately Mr Clooney couldn’t make it!).
We had our own ‘star’ of the night, however, in acclaimed mixologist Martin Hudak who gave a cocktail demonstration while guests enjoyed canapés from Maybe Sammy’s new menu.
Martin and team served a Casamigos Smoky Casa Margarita and Casamigos Paloma cocktails.
The feedback on the magazine’s revamp has been overwhelmingly positive and we are so appreciative to all who have taken the time to share their thoughts and comments with us.
We look forward to continuing to inspire you on your own travels.
