The cabin The Delta Air Lines’ upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft offers more choice, luxury and comfort for passengers in all classes. The main cabin was clean and comfortable when we boarded.

The seat With the new upgrade, there is a choice of seats across all classes. The nine-abreast, rather than the usual ten, in the main cabin, allows for the widest seats on any Delta international flight at 46.99 cm wide. Free mobile messaging and power ports are available for each seat. Entertainment Every seat has an entertainment screen with access to Delta Studio, the airline’s award-winning suite of onboard entertainment. It’s easy to keep track of your flight, enjoy a movie or catch up with the latest news, podcast, TV show or listen to your favourite songs during this long-haul flight with hundreds of options.

Service Service on a long-haul flight can become jaded, however the crew quickly attended to any call-buttons buzzing while serving drinks and food all with a big smile. Food + Drink The meals offered were a range of cuisines from chicken thigh with arrabiata sauce and Thao’s Farm broccolini, marinated shrimp with Anson Mills polenta, and three cheese lasagne with pomodoro. All were substantial, looked as fresh as they can be, served so far up in the air and in a timely fashion.

Amenities Waiting at each seat was a fluffy lumbar pillow, a blanket, a set of headphones and an amenity kit. There are two areas of lavatories main cabin passengers can use plus if needed there are a further two lavatories available at the front of the Premium Select cabin. Baggage It’s 23 kilograms free, and you may check in another bag that meets the size and weight restrictions at no extra charge – check when booking. Carry-on is one item onboard, plus one personal item.
