Hawaii’s first Relais & Chateaux property
On the island of Maui, the 72-bedroom, independently-owned, all-suite Hotel Wailea has recently opened Ondine restaurant, by celebrated local chefs Anthony Rush and Chris Kajioka, known for their Honolulu restaurant, Senia. Hotel Wailea, an adultsonly property, is the only Hawaiian property to be accepted into the Relais & Chateaux group. It is set on six hectares of grounds with tropical gardens, cascading waterfalls and winding pathways. The new space at Ondine features three different culinary experiences for guests: an interactive chef’s kitchen with tasting counter for small groups; a garden terrace with views overlooking the kitchen; and a treehouse private dining experience for small groups.
