Australia’s second voco property from the InterContinental Hotel Group has opened in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales after an extensive refurbishment and rebrand. The 70-room property is located on 28 hectares of countryside within close distance to some of the region’s best wineries. Guests can dine at Locavore Dining and Epoche Lounge Bar where there is a strong paddock-to-plate emphasis; and high tea is served at The Conservatory. All rooms will feature plasticfree bedding with duvets made from recyclable plastics and large bottle amenities from Australian-owned Aveda to reduce the volume of plastic waste. Other features include tennis courts, a billiards room, an indoor heated pool, sauna, spa and gymnasium. Rates start from $170 per room, per night.
