An Antarctic odyssey

Adventure cruise operator Aurora Expeditions has announced that renowned mountaineer, writer, photographer and adventure expert, Sir Chris Bonington CBE, will be joining its 22-day ‘South Georgia & Antarctic Odyssey’ voyage, 10-31 March 2021, as a guest lecturer. Onboard Aurora Expeditions’ new ship, Greg Mortimer, launching in October 2019, Sir Chris, passengers and crew will travel from South Georgia to Elephant Island along the Antarctic Peninsula, following a similar journey that Shackleton himself took over 100 years ago onboard his famous vessel, Endurance.
