Signature restaurant opens in Bali

The Apurva Kempinski Bali which opened earlier this year in Nusa Dua has now opened its signature Japanese restaurant, Izakaya by OKU. The 60-seat restaurant is an outpost of the award-winning OKU restaurant at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta. Chef Deni Koswara has created an extensive menu, inspired by traditiona­l Japanese cooking methods and ingredient­s. Signature dishes will include karasumi pasta, OKU kaarage, OKU aburi salmon roll, truffle gyu don, saikyo cod, and mizu as well as ‘okukase’ – a five-course and seven-course chef’s degustatio­n menu paired with sakes and signature cocktails.
