Set to open on 15 November is a new luxury hotel for Western Australia, The Ritz-Carlton, Perth at the Elizabeth Quay precinct. More than 10,000 pieces of handpicked Kimberley sandstone are used in the exterior and lobby of the 205-room hotel. The signature Ritz-Carlton Suite will span 277 square-metres and includes an outdoor balcony with views over the Swan River. Two dining outlets within the hotel will showcase Western Australian cuisine; while the rooftop bar will be the place to view the sun setting over the Swan River and the city skyline. The Ritz-Carlton Spa will feature four treatment rooms, a heated outdoor infinity pool, sauna and private yoga studio. The hotel is located on 1 Barrack Street, close to Kings Park.
