Darwin dazzles

-

Australia’s Top End capital Darwin is lit up this summer, thanks to a city-wide exhibition titled ‘Bruce Munro: Tropical Light’ by acclaimed English-Australian artist, running until 30 April, 2020. This free exhibition is centred around eight large-scale illuminated sculptures reflective of Munro’s personal experience from extensive travels throughout the Northern Territory. Visitors can enjoy a self-guided, outdoor exhibition trail which weaves throughout Darwin’s CBD and waterfront precincts, and which also includes the works of five local Territory artists. Bruce Munro’s ‘Field of Light’ exhibition at Uluru has attracted more than 450,000 visitors since opening in 2016 – with the popular exhibit now extended indefinitely.
